I am happy to announce we have coordinated a Youth Mental Health First Aid class in Spanish. This class will be held at the Atheneum on Wednesday, December 10th 9:30-3:30. All participants who complete the course will receive certification. This training is free and will include breakfast and lunch.

This program is designed for anyone who works with or spends time with adolescents ages 12-18 years. For example, coaches, parents, family members, religious leaders, trainers, and really any staff in any role that interacts with young people. No prior experience in mental health is necessary.

This course will be offered in SPANISH for those completely comfortable learning and participating in Spanish. This program is sponsored on Nantucket by NAMI Cape Cod & Islands/ ASAP, Community Solutions for Behavioral Health, and the Nantucket Atheneum. Remember, we're stronger together and collaboration is key.
